After a few weeks of laying low, business planning, hanging out with family in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, we decided to take some time for a bit of an adventure. Luckily for us, despite the pandemic, domestic travel (done safely) in Costa Rica is not only allowed but actually encouraged in an attempt to boost the local tourism industry that has suffered greatly in the last 12 months.
So we packed our bags and made our way to the Caribbean Coast, to Tortuguero National Park – one of the most popular and perhaps most unique National Parks in Costa Rica.
It’s a destination we haven’t visited before, and despite some preconceived notions, it turned out to be a destination that blew us away!
