The Costa Rica government has surprised many by announcing that, as of November 1, residents of *ALL 50* U.S. states will be allowed to visit the country. They also added Florida and Texas to the list of states allowed in as of October 15.
The country will still require travel insurance that covers COVID-19 related health emergencies for the first 14 days of your stay, plus a negative PCR coronavirus test done within 72 hours of boarding your flight.
The government here has not seen new COVID cases associated with foreign tourists, which supported their decision to open to the U.S.
