Led by the European Investment Bank (EIB)

European and Global Leadership in Paris Alignment: Commitment to Action!

The event will gather a range of examples of ambitious actions on Paris Alignment, both from Europe and globally, to illustrate how PDBs can and must drive delivery of the Paris Agreement by “making finance flows consistent with a pathway towards low greenhouse gas emissions and climate-resilient development”. We will address both the temperature and climate resilience goals of the Paris Agreement, establishing vital links to the environmental crisis and the need for a green recovery that is socially inclusive. Entering the critical decade to 2030, PDBs will demonstrate robust and ambitious Paris alignment timelines, targets and actions.
